What a way to start this new blog! Some yummy but easy oven baked chicken wing recipe. This is definitely a go-to when the husband and I crave something comforting. Eating healthy has its perks and flaws but if you can get the hang of it, then it becomes a habit. This is a low carb recipe {we’ve been on a low carb diet for some time now}.

This recipe is spicy, you can adjust how spicy you would like it. For the kids I don’t even add the sauce. Just olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder for them. I’m not sure if you have heard of Famous Daves but these wings remind me so much of theirs. All recipes I share are in fact mine, unless otherwise stated. Kickin’ Wings

Ingredients

  • About 25-30 chicken wings
  • Buffalo sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • cayenne

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Grab a large cooking sheet and place wings side by side, without touching.
  3. In a bowl mix a little over half of the regular size bottle of buffalo sauce, two pinches of pepper, a good sized pinch of salt, tablespoon of onion powder and 1 1/2 tablespoons of garlic powder. Add cayenne for heat or skip that step.
  4. Brush the tops of the chicken wings with the sauce mixture. 3
  5. Place in oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Take wings out of oven and flip them over. Repeat step #4.
  7. Place wings back in the oven for an additional 20-30 minutes until the wings reach a temperature of 165 internally.
  8. Serve and ENJOY!
